Crazy Sock Day Is Tomorrow.....Thursday, October 25th

Ipads have been introduced and they used them during afternoon centers yesterday.


Designing pumpkins was also an activity yesterday at Centers when Mrs. Lortie and I were running reading groups.

Adding a bit of color to a paper book for her book box.  The sparkling "book boxes" will be going home at conferences.  Find a very safe place for them to live at home and be sure to let your child do some reading during special times at home.

A Visit to the Gorham Fire Station

This closet in the truck holds tools that help the firefighters put out fires.

Her mask allows her to breathe clean air.

The clothes the firefighters wear keep them safe.

Sparky the Dog reminded us about calling 911 in an emergency.

Once again, we had a very attentive and polite group of students listening.
I will take them on a field trip anytime!

Adding another lifecycle to our list: butterflies, apples, and now pumpkins!

Have your child tell you about the six pictures on the paper plate pumpkin.

We know six word wall words!

Two Rounds of the Grab Bag Game

Ask your child what shapes were in the bag?  Each bag had 6 different shapes in it.  Happy 4-Day weekend to all my K students.  I will see you Tuesday!

Just two things today.......

We said good-bye to the red, yellow, green and blue table labels
and changed the new labels to shapes we are working on. See if
your child can remember the four new table names.

Another math game:  Quick Look Memory
